We are delighted to share that we have raised a total of £3100 for Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital charity in our first fundraising event of our year long partnership.

Royal Manchester Children's Hospital

On June 18th, a team of of our people bravely volunteered to take on The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge bid to raise funds for the charity, conquering the circular route of the three major peaks Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in the Yorkshire Dales. In total, they covered 24 miles and a total of ascent of 1585 meters, with most of the team completing the challenge in under 12 hours. Andy Hodgson, project manager and Masie Kendall, trainee project engineer were our record holders of the day, completing the challenge in an outstanding 8 hours 12 mins!

We also took part in Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital charity’s ‘Be Seen in Green’ day, showing our support wearing the charity’s colour green t-shirts on the day.

The funds raised will support Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital charity in continuing to enhance and make a difference to the lives of the children that are cared for by the hospital. The charity does some incredible work in ensuring patients receive excellent treatment and care in high quality facilities with specialist equipment. They also lead pioneering research into understanding complex illnesses in children to find preventions, treatments and cures.

A huge well done to all of our volunteers for taking on and accomplishing the challenge and thank you to everyone who has supported us.
