James Bevis

Managing Director

James is an experienced leader with over 20 years of experience within the construction industry, specialising in the management of engineering and technology projects, building services and the interface with civil, structural and architectural works.

He has worked both operationally and commercially, predominantly with contractors on projects in the UK, Europe and the Middle East with construction values up to $900m.

Neil Harrison

Finance Director

Neil has 30 years’ experience in Finance and for the last 14 years has worked in the Construction sector. Prior to this he worked in FMCG, Storage and IT in entities ranging from large privately owned to listed. He has dynamic management experience at local, regional and international level.

A dynamic and hands-on leader that takes ownership, excels through challenges, and possesses a high personal and work ethic. 

As a leader Neil is described as approachable and calming. He empowers his team to complete the tasks required as well as acting as mentor and encouraging the team to progress in their own careers.

Outside of work Neil is a lifelong Blackburn Rovers fan and spends as much downtime as possible in the company of his family and friends. 

Ryan Gorman

Project Delivery Director

Ryan has a vast amount of experience in the construction industry, starting his career as an apprentice at a national M&E contractor where he became a Project Manager responsible for a variety of technically demanding projects.

His background also includes planning, estimating and value engineering projects from a conceptual phase to construction ensuring project controls are in place.

Since joining Exyte Hargreaves in 2013, Ryan has been responsible for the delivery of projects which include activities outside of the UK in specialist environments. Ryan has been responsible for the delivery of some of the largest projects in the world with national importance including Chernobyl New Safe Confinement and Crossrail, London.

David Fitzpatrick

Smoke Fire Systems Operations Director

David has over 30 years experience in sales and marketing, senior management, board-level developing and implementing growth and change strategies working with companies within and outside the UK.

He is well-known within the building services industry with vast experience in the smoke industry working for Airvent, Colt International, and creating Adexsi UK Ltd. 

David has delivered numerous projects working with all disciplines from the architect through to the Main Contractor. He has spent an extensive part of his career working within smoke-related manufacturing companies such as NuAire and Actionair where his role has allowed him to develop strong teams and develop technologically innovative products.

In May 2019 David became a CIBSE elected board member and was a chairman of the CIBSE patrons from 2012 to October 2019.

Pete Foster

Head of Digital Innovation & Systems

Pete is a a highly experienced Digital Manufacturing Specialist with wide-ranging expertise within manufacturing and production. He has vast knowledge of operational management, systems integration, material regulation planning and continuous improvement. 

Over 25 years’ experience in Offsite Construction/Manufacturing either with some of the largest MMC manufacturers in the UK or as a consultant while working as a data implementation specialist as the CEO of CobuilderUK, focusing on Product Data Sheets aligned with the recently issued ISO 23386/87.

Pete has over 7 years’ experience with BIM solutions, processes and implementation. Working with contractors from T1 to T3 as a BIM specialist, assisting with BIM processes and focus in particular on structured data as part of a BIM process.

Hilary Tew

Head of HR

Hilary has over 25 years’ experience in European and multi-site environments across various industries including integrated engineering design and build, construction and manufacturing. Her expertise lie within developing organisations, leadership and people capability, managing complex projects and balancing strategic and operational needs.

She is also a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD) and obtained a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Manchester in 2004. 

In her role at Exyte Hargreaves, Hilary is responsible for leading the business’s initiatives around talent attraction, wellbeing and E,D&I. 

Peter Brooke

Head of Manufacturing

Peter is a performance driven and people-oriented leader with a track record of improving operational efficiency and reducing costs in manufacturing businesses and supply chains. He has a passion for developing high performing teams with lean thinking, innovation, and resilience at their core.

Peter is a strategic thinker equipped with a strong technical background in engineering, automation,  and  business systems implementation. His background includes working within companies ranging from UK SME’s with £20m turnover to blue chip organisations delivering billions of pounds turnover.
