Mike Berry Retirement

We are extending our best wishes to Mike Berry, HVAC Engineer who is retiring after 40 years in the HVAC Nuclear industry and would like to thank him for all that he has contributed to not only us but to the industry.

Mike started his career as a sheet metal worker at CWS Engineering in 1967. He Left the shop floor in 1969 to pursue an opportunity to become a Junior Draughtsman at CWS Engineering.
Throughout his career, Mike worked in a number of Design Consultancies across various industries before being given the opportunity to join BNFL on the THORP Project.
In his 18 year career with BNFL/BNG/Sellafield Ltd, Mike was responsible for the Nuclear HVAC Design on a number of high profile projects across the Nuclear Industry including leading the AMWTP project in Idaho USA.
Following on from his Career with Sellafield Ltd Mike set up as an external consultant leading the HVAC Design on projects such as Sellafield’s Evap D and the DSRL New Analytical Laboratory.
Throughout his career Mike has presented 5 Technical Papers at the IMECHE Nuclear Ventilation Conference and is a recognised expert in his field.
