Engineering Young Talent Programme (EYTP)

The Engineering Young Talent Programme (EYTP) was first launched in 2012. In the first year the company worked in one school overseeing engineering related activities.

This has since grown and we now support many local schools and colleges in the delivery of their careers guidance programmes, providing engineering related projects and opportunities for young people.

EYTP is now a recognised industry award winning programme.

The aims of our EYTP programme have always remained the same:

  • To develop knowledge of and interest in engineering with schools and colleges.
  • To create opportunities for employment and further education and training for young people.
  • To nurture talent and provide mentoring and coaching through apprenticeship programmes.

The scheme is currently focused on the North West region where we engage with various schools and colleges directly, as well as supporting many more local engineering and careers events. We run the scheme to coincide with the school year, with new apprentices starting employment each September.
