Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge

Exyte Hargreaves • 15 June 2021

We will be taking on The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, our first fundraising event of our year long commitment to raise a total of £20,000 by June 2022 for Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital charity.

Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge

On Friday 18th June, a team of around 20 of our people have volunteered to take on the challenge and join us in the circular route of three major peaks in the Yorkshire Dales. Starting our day in Horton-In-Ribblesdale we will be taking on the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough covering a total of 24 miles and a total of ascent of 1585 meters, all within 12 hours!

We will also be taking part in Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital charity’s ‘Be Seen in Green’ day on 18th June, showing our support by wearing the charity’s colour green t-shirts on the day to raise awareness and funds.

The funds raised will contribute to the continuation of Royal Manchester Children’s hospital’s incredible work in providing specialist pediatric care and treatment for children. Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity plays a critical role in leading pioneering research into preventing, treating and curing complex illnesses in children.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks is quite the challenge and we are extremely proud of our team of colleagues who have been brave in volunteering to take it on, all in support of an incredibly important cause.

Thank you and good luck to everyone who is taking part!
