March for March

We've launched a new wellbeing campaign March for March, challenging our people to commit to doing 10,000 steps a day in March to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

March for March
Cancer Research UK’s pioneering work into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer has helped save millions of lives. Over the past 40 years survival has doubled, thanks to the great progress research has made.

As a business we are committed to promoting a culture of great wellbeing and challenge amongst our people for them to succeed and achieve the incredible. We’ve asked our colleagues to participate in the new March for March campaign for a cause that is close to our hearts, a new challenge and a great way to improve wellbeing. Something we believe is more important, now more than ever as we’ve faced such unprecedented times over the past year with many of our people working from home.

Committing to 10,000 steps has a number of excellent health benefits such as improving fitness, mental health and lowering blood pressure and it is a COVID-19 safe activity. The steps can be done whichever way our participants choose to, whether its running, doing an online fitness class or simply just going for walk can do the world of good. By the end of the month we’ll have marched through 150 miles – about the distance of Manchester to London!

Each week, we’ll be competing to hit the highest number of steps in our leaderboard and announce the distance milestones we reached together.
We can’t wait to get started!
