Since 1872, we’ve been delivering the extraordinary. This year Exyte Hargreaves are celebrating our 150 year anniversary of heritage, legacy, innovation, projects and most importantly, the people who are at the heart of our success.

Our Heritage
From our early beginnings occupying a bicycle shop we have evolved to become the industry leading, innovative construction engineering business we are today. Our success attributes to our passion, forward thinking approach and ability to understand and adapt to the changing needs and requirements of our people, clients and society.
Since the business was founded in 1872, we have built a truly unique heritage shaping the past, present and future, supporting in the delivery of projects of national importance from Chernobyl Safe Containment Arch to Conventional Island, Hinkley Point C.
Building a legacy
Over the past century and a half, we have created long lasting legacies, thriving communities and resilient economies by providing employment opportunities, training & development and giving back through our charitable work. We’ve also inspired and developed the next generation of young people through our Engineering Young Talent Programme apprenticeship scheme to futureproof the skills of the industry.

Our anniversary is not only a celebration of our remarkable history, the momentous occasion also provides us opportunity to mark our next chapter as we look ahead. We are proud of the success we have had over the past 150 years and the legacy we have built so far, shaping significant infrastructure of the world we know today and are excited for the future of Exyte Hargreaves and advancing our ambitions to create an equitable, safe and sustainable world.
