We are excited to announce that we have been shortlisted and are now finalists in three categories across the H&V News awards 2021 in recognition of our achievements in training & development, apprenticeships and health, safety & wellbeing.

H&V News Awards 2021

The H&V News Awards have been celebrating the achievements of the most forward-thinking innovative and customer-focused businesses in the HVAC industry for 27 years. Widely known as the most authoritative awards in the HVAC sector, The H&V News awards recognise and celebrate every aspect of the industry from HVAC project of the year to diversity impact.

The shortlist honour for Exyte Hargreaves in 2021 comes following a successful year previously winning five awards for our training & safety initiatives, project delivery achievements and the success of our apprentices in 2020.

This year we are honoured to have been shortlisted in the following categories:

Safety, Health or Wellbeing Initiative of the Year 2021 - Incident Free Workplace

Incident Free Workplace (IFW) is a behavioural safety programme that was introduced to support our commitment to an incident free workplace where everybody goes home safe everyday.

The initiative is an approach we’ve adopted to managing safety, where an efficient safety management system that supports the business is complemented by a culture of care and concern, intolerant of any incidents or injuries, with a firm belief that all injuries are avoidable.

Training Initiative of the Year category – Engineering Young Talent Programe

Exyte Hargreaves Engineering Young Talent Programme (EYTP) has been our successful programme over the last 8 years that has enabled talent to grow and develop. The programmes span all generations, from primary school to colleagues preparing for retirement, harnessing the passion for engineering at every level. Since it started in 2013, 43 young people have been recruited, offering apprenticeships from Fabrication and Welding to IT Infrastructure.

Apprentice of the Year (21 and under) 2021 Finalist – Toby Hallam

Toby Hallam, Apprentice Technician is a great asset to Exyte Hargreaves, growing and maturing daily to meet business needs and support all employees in the business to the best of his ability. Toby is a person who goes above and beyond for people, the business and his function; acquiring new skills and knowledge daily.
