Exyte Hargreaves announce promotions within the Digital Innovation & Systems Team
Exyte Hargreaves are pleased to announce changes to the digital innovations and systems team, to build upon the digital transformation the business has been through over the past two years and advance further ambitions.
Thomas Richens has been promoted to BIM Manager. Tom joined the company as a BIM Graduate earlier in the year, and quickly became a key member of the team, getting up to speed with our forward way of thinking and leading the way with his ideas and implementation methods.
Before joining Exyte Hargreaves, Tom undertook a work experience placement at BAE systems and studied Civil Engineering (BEng) then BIM & Digital Built Environments (MSc), recently winning an award for Autodesk Prize for Best Dissertation in MSc Building Information Modelling and Integrated Design.
Robert Davies has been promoted to Deputy BIM Manager. As one of the bright young talents within Exyte Hargreaves it was great to see Robert applying to join the DI&S team to further his career and build upon his strengths in digital.
He has been closely working with the team during his time in the CAD team, and was nominated as the champion for the implementation and use of Stratus earlier in the year, a role he performed to a high standard and Stratus is now implemented and being used on numerous projects.
Robert has been an apprentice technician at Exyte Hargreaves for the past three years and has worked in each department, gaining invaluable experience of every aspect of the business. He is coming up to the end of his Mechanical Engineering HNC and is on track to complete his course early next year when he will progress onto a BA Hons degree course in Digital Construction.
In addition to the above, Mark Naylor has been promoted to Digital Innovation and Systems Manager, to head up the team and provide his mentoring and skills in advancing Exyte Hargreaves through the next digital transformation stages.
Mark joined the business earlier in the year as IT Manager and established himself in this position, making key changes to the IT systems and ways of working, with positive results and feedback.
As a key part of Marks progression, and the commitment from Exyte Hargreaves to the digital transformation project this promotion is key to solidifying the DI&S team. Mark will use his skills and expertise to work with Pete Foster (Head of DI&S) to accelerate the business into the next stage of its digital transformation.
Before joining Exyte Hargreaves, Mark studied at the University of Salford before becoming an IT Teacher. He has extensive expertise in the IT industry working for the likes of Sage, Amazon, Sony, Education Manchester and even worked in Perth, Western Australia.
