Exyte Hargreaves • 8 April 2021
Exyte Hargreaves are proud to announce that we have received certification in BIM for Design, Construction and Commissioning complying with the UK BIM Framework in accordance with BS EN ISO 19650-1:2018, BS EN ISO 19650-2:2018 and BS 1192-4:2014 by the BSI Kitemark Certification Scheme.

Pete Foster, Head of BASIC stated “Building Information Modelling (BIM) is an integral component to our continued digitalisation and approach to delivering innovative solutions for our clients. Our BIM process facilitates project co-ordination, collaboration between stakeholders, efficient workflows, 3D visualisation, and ultimately improved project outcomes. Our Common Data Environment Dalux helps us to work in collaboration with engineers, contractors and manufacturers in a virtual construction environment with designated workflows“
Exyte Hargreaves have successfully completed a number of independent and impartial assessments of BIM project delivery, client satisfaction and collaborative engagement with the delivery team. The certification is a fantastic accolade of our achievement in this field and we are delighted to have been able to demonstrate our BIM capability.
Through the utilisation of Building Information Modelling and BIM certification there have been a number of key benefits:
• Communicating a strong vision on our organizational structure and activities with our clients reduces uncertainty.
• BIM review of documented systems enables us to deliver faster and efficient workflows.
• Clear understanding of roles and responsibilities per project demonstrates our capability and identifies CPD deliveries.
• BIM implementation enhanced our supply chain management and capability assessments.
• BIM execution plans, BIM policy and exchange information requirement checklists have had a huge impact on the prevention of errors and encourages soft landings on project handover stages.
Thank you to everyone who helped to achieve the BIM for Design, Construction and Commissioning certification.
